Craig is a qualified electrician with more than 15 years of electrical experience and over a decade specialising in electric gates and access systems.

His experience covers everything from high-end residential installations to complex commercial projects. Having built CM Gates & Barriers from its engineering roots, Craig remains closely involved in technical standards and finding practical solutions when a project presents an unusual challenge.

That problem-solving approach continues to shape how the wider CM team works today.

Lewis brings more than 20 years of facilities management experience to CM Gates & Barriers, giving him a strong understanding of perimeter security from the client's side of the fence.

His background includes responsibility within a COMAH-regulated brewery environment, where safety, compliance, contractor management and operational reliability are critical. He also has practical experience in welding and fabrication, combining operational management with an understanding of how things are actually built and maintained.

As General Manager, Lewis is responsible for the overall performance and development of CM Gates & Barriers, with a particular focus on raising standards, strengthening our commercial capability and ensuring we remain a reliable long-term contractor for our clients.

With around 10 years of experience in the gate automation and perimeter security industry, Allan has developed a strong understanding of the different solutions available for commercial and residential sites.

His role is not simply about supplying a particular product. Allan works with clients to understand what they need to achieve, the risks or operational problems they are trying to address and which solution is appropriate for their site.

From automatic gates and barriers to access control and ongoing maintenance, he helps clients develop a practical route forward before a project reaches our engineering team.

Philip brings more than 10 years of electric gate engineering experience and a strong technical understanding of automatic gates, barriers and perimeter security systems.

His previous experience includes working with COVA, giving him exposure to demanding commercial security projects where careful system design, planning and quality of installation are essential.

Today, Philip oversees CM projects from planning through to delivery, helping ensure installations are properly coordinated, technically considered and completed to the standard our clients expect.

David manages the service side of CM Gates & Barriers, helping keep hundreds of gates, barriers and access systems operating safely and reliably.

With an engineering background alongside extensive customer-facing management experience, he understands both sides of a service call: solving the technical problem and making sure the customer knows what is happening.

He coordinates planned servicing, reactive repairs and our service agreement customers, working closely with our engineers to minimise disruption and keep clients informed throughout.

Joao brings more than 20 years of experience in hospitality, operations and commercial management, having led a range of high-profile venues and multi-million-pound businesses across Edinburgh and Glasgow.

His background includes responsibility for large multi-site operations and teams of almost 200 employees, covering everything from commercial performance and financial management to recruitment, HR, marketing and day-to-day operations. He has also managed major events welcoming up to 10,000 guests, where careful planning, organisation and strong leadership are essential.

Today, Joao brings that experience to CM Gates & Barriers, combining commercial awareness with a strong customer and operational focus. Working closely with clients, engineers and the wider team, he helps take projects from initial enquiry and site survey through to quotation, planning and delivery, ensuring customers receive a well-organised and professional service throughout.

Cintia manages the financial operations that support CM Gates & Barriers as the company continues to grow.

Working alongside our management, project and service teams, she helps maintain the financial processes needed to support projects, suppliers, customers and the day-to-day operation of the business.

Faiz leads marketing and communications for CM Gates & Barriers, helping communicate our work, technical expertise and approach to safety and perimeter security.

Working closely with the operational and commercial teams, he is responsible for the company's digital presence, client communications and campaigns that connect organisations across Scotland with the right security solutions.
