Project Overview

Following the successful delivery of previous projects for this client, CM Gates & Barriers was invited to design and install a new access control and perimeter security system at one of their additional storage facility sites.

The objective was to create a secure and reliable entry system capable of handling frequent vehicle access while protecting the site and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Challenges

The new facility required a complete security solution rather than a simple gate installation. Key considerations included:

• Securing the entire perimeter of the site
• Providing reliable vehicle access for tenants and staff
• Ensuring controlled pedestrian access
• Delivering a durable system suited to a commercial storage environment

Our Solution

Our team designed and installed a fully integrated site access system, including:

• A large cantilever sliding gate for secure and reliable vehicle entry
• A separate pedestrian access gate
• Keypad access control to manage authorised entry
• Perimeter fencing installation to secure the site boundary

The cantilever gate design ensures smooth operation without the need for a ground track, making it ideal for commercial environments where reliability and low maintenance are essential.

All systems were installed and commissioned in line with relevant safety standards and best practice. By combining robust gate automation, secure access control, and perimeter fencing, the site now benefits from a durable, secure, and professionally integrated access system designed for long-term performance.
