Following the successful installation of the site’s main entrance gates several years ago, CM Gates & Barriers was invited back by a long-standing school client to design, fabricate, and automate new pedestrian gates for the campus.

As a busy school environment, the project required a solution that prioritised pupil safety and secure access while integrating seamlessly with the site’s existing infrastructure.

• Designing gates that visually matched the existing fencing and surrounding architecture
• Integrating the new pedestrian access points with the existing Paxton access control system

• A bespoke manual release mechanism allowing emergency gate operation without powering down or disconnecting the access control system
